Minimum Entry Requirement

BACHELOR OF NURSING (HONOURS)
4-years Bachelor Honours Degree programme

STPM with Minimum CGPA of 2.50 including credit SPM Bahasa Melayu* and Mathematics (Elementary / Additional / Modern)

AND

EITHER One (1) of the Credit below:

General Science / Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

OR

Matriculation / Foundation with minimum CGPA 2.50

OR

Any Diploma with minimum CGPA 2.50 (No credit transfer) equivalent MQF Level 4

OR

Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution by Malaysia Nursing Board with minimum two (2) years clinical working experience (Credit transfer allowed). For international candidates, the candidates are required to have registered with the Nursing Council of the country of origin

OR

Other equivalent qualifications with minimum CGPA 2.50

AND All candidates who possess Matriculation / Foundation / pass any Diploma / other equivalent qualification except Diploma in Nursing MUST possess:

Mandatory credits in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics (Elementary / Additional / Modern)

EITHER One (1) of the credits below:

General Science / Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics

Credit in SPM English OR one of the following English Language requirements:

IELTS Band 5,5

TOEFL (computer-based testing) - Score of 215

TOEFL (internet-based testing) - Score of 80

MUET-Band 3

O-Level English Language - Credit

AND

All candidates must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner within one month from

Candidates with any of the following shall be disqualified from entry into a nursing programme:

• Serious physical or mental illness, and/or
• Serious communicable disease: HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C
• Candidate MUST not have any physical disabilities or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity
